The first WDC ranking events for 2010 were super sensational events. From the very start the United Kingdom Ballroom and Latin American Professional Championships produced a standard of dancing that can only be termed magnificent.  At the end of each event there could not be the slightest doubt that the audience had witnessed  the greatest dancers, the greatest artists producing a standard that was the pinnacle of achievement.  These were truly "the best".  After hours of competition, requiring enormous physical stamina the final reached even greater heights of brilliant dancing 

The Ballroom produced a knife edge confrontation which left the audience breathless but standing to applaud. Who would be 1st or 2nd or even 3rd and 4th  it was impossible to say each was magnificent.

The Latin a final of 6 couples comprising 10 current or former World Champions at one level or age group. So high was the standard that World Champion title holders did not reach the final. It could be argued the audience were left as exhausted as the competitors so great was the excitement.

The World Dance Council is proud of its competitors and their achievements and salute each and every member and congratulate the winners but also each finalist for making our Super Series so very special.
